When in Doubt, Play with a Pumpkin

There is a reason so many people in this world love autumn. Sure, the chilly evenings are lovely and the spiced smells that fill the air (and our lattes) are good for our souls. And nothing brings more joy to my own spirit than seeing the big displays of pumpkins filling the stores. UNTIL.

Until I had the opportunity to dance in a pumpkin patch--well, there wasn't any music, so maybe it was more prancing around the pumpkin patch.

And it was magical.

The colors. The air. The continual reminder that there is One who is the master Creator and His creations always reign. While we may feel like we were put on this earth for some grand "purpose" and we need to work "hard hard hard" to make that purpose happen, we were mostly put here to enjoy what the master Creator has made for us.

So when you are feeling a bit grumpy or lonely or discouraged, please visit the nearest pumpkin patch and find your JOY.

Let's do this.
